Our company is well versed in the law, and our staff pays close attention to legal issues while providing fast, accurate, and careful translation services at reasonable prices.
In general, there are two methods for calculating translation fees: “quality-based” and “source language count-based.”
The “source language count-based” method calculates fees based on the source language of the translation,
using the number of words or characters in the original text.
Our company uses the “source language count-based” method.

English translation (Japanese to English)
If the requested translation is from Japanese to English, we will count the number of Japanese words in the original text.
Punctuation marks are also counted as one word.
For example, if the original text is 100 Japanese characters, the fee will be calculated by multiplying the number of characters by the unit price of 15 yen (minimum fee).
Example: 100 (number of Japanese characters) × 15 yen = 1,500 yen
Japanese translation (English to Japanese)
If the requested translation is from English to Japanese, we will count the number of words in the original English text.
Punctuation marks are not included.
For example, let's say the original text is 100 words in English.
The fee is calculated by multiplying the number of characters by the unit price of 20 yen (minimum fee).
Example: 100 (number of English words) × 20 yen = 2,000 yen
